I'm still a mess and you still don't care

Actually, I'm doing fine. But the song "Little Red Light" by Fountains of Wayne is great. This is a good breakup song. Here's a guy that is no longer with his significant other (no details are given), who is "still a mess," but is getting on with his life. He's distracted, hurt, lonely, but as mentioned in "Bright Future in Sales," still getting his "s--- together". He doesn't seem to be hurting less than an emo-kid (thanks for the correction Matt), but that doesn't stop him from going to work. It's a damn fine song.

you people are way late in your fountains of wayne discoveries. their first album was quite good and it came out like 6 years ago. the only people i remember liking them at covenant until now, were me, morris, em clutcher and maybe mesh, but im not too sure.

Yeah, I was fond of "Sink to the Bottom" and "Radiation Vibe" back in the day. I probably first heard the Fountains from Morris: that little Japanese man has a way with the tunes.

As someone who does sit in an office all day and does not get any calls, I should note that it pretty much sucks.

Mesh, I'd call you, if I had a damn phone that worked. I'm just chillin' here at home. Holton is here too, 'cause he's a looser. His job doesn't start for 2 weeks.

I'm familar with the original FoW album, and it had a few really nice tracks on it. But I'm not listening to that one right now, I'm listening to Welcome Interstate Managers.

Aww, you guys are sweet. I wasn't trolling for sympathy, just noting that working alone isn't that much more fun than playing guitar alone. But thanks for saying hey.

Umm, that's really not the kind of info you should post on a public place like this. Email next time, eh?

It's a work number to my office's main desk. It's public information. And most of the secretaries have no idea who I am, or how to find me. I remain unconcerned.

I love getting off-topic.
