Lots of links

Okay, here's a few things in the blogsphere I need to link:

First, two from Zen Archery. Ellis has a fairly interesting and graphic piece that winds up being a pretty good response to the irony-mongers. Essentially: "You are going to die." Not exactly the response that I would immediately offer, as there's nothing like a small dose of death to take the edge off a guy, it isn't entirely inappropriate. Second, he notes Elliot Smith is dead, apparently of suicide, and has a few appropos comments to make.

The other thing I need to link to is Mesh's recent piece on Kill Bill: Volume 1. It's really good. You should read it. I now plan on going to see the movie tonight, something I hadn't initially planned on doing. I also heartly approve of the new direction Mesh has chosen for his blog. I've always thought he was a better essayist than ranter anyway. I think I've got the latter covered decently well, so if he just keeps providing slam-dunk essays like this that I can link to then I'll be pretty happy.
