Somebody needs a raise

I just read Bush's second inaugural speech. Whoever writes these things isn't getting paid enough. That was good.

Really? What'd you like about iit? I watched it in school, and it really didn't strike me as anything outstanding. It sounded like every other speech I've heard him give, including being rather redundant through out....I'd like to know why you thought iit was good...

There were, to me, an equal number of frightening and (honestly) quite inspiring phrases.

Here's why. I couldn't nail down exactly what pleased me in Bush's speech, but that Weekly Standard piece does it. Bush was talking in ways that I really want to, but normally don't feel courageous enough to pull off: moral absolutes, natural law, etc. Good on him.
