Don't buy a Zune

Please. Don't. Read this and you'll see why.

All I need to know is that it isn't compatible with Microsoft's own software. If it isn't compatible with what I'm using anyways, I'm not going to jump through hoops to use a gadget that doesn't provide access to features that I want.

Which is why I use one of these. Go and get one.

With a hard drive? I don't think so. I prefer something joggable.

I'll grant that, but that isn't generally why I'm looking for an mp3 player. I use it pretty much exclusively to listen to in the library or while in the car. So yeah, if you're looking for something to listen to while you exercise, get a Shuffle or something, but please, don't get a Zune.

I'm holding out for the new iPod phone. Both April and I need new phones, and we're waiting to see what Apple kicks out 1Q
