I'm pretty ambivalent about copyright law. It's stories like this that cement that ambivalence.

Hey, here's a thought... Why doesn't Jesse Jackson pay for the rights so that the filmmakers can re-release the film? I know his racial thuggery pays well, and he seems to have a keen interest in making sure black people and white people stay mad at each other... Films like this can help!

I have nothing else to say about that. But, Ryan, I don't remember your middle name; and seeing your initials in your below post as rmd make me think it's Marie, as in our fifth north friend "Smokin' Dope with the Pope" Marie Davis.
