We need to break them
The stupid dispute continues to escalate.
The only viable solution here is to refuse, flat out, to give any kind of concession here. Let them riot. Let them burn down their own cities. This is what savages do, and these people are, clearly, savages.
The only kind of resolution the West has ever had with the Islamic world is military subjugation. I've argued this for over a year now. See here, here, and here for a representative sample.

Oh, and by the way, you're the one who introduced ethnicity as a category. I never referred to it at all. Not sure how that makes me a racist by any definition of the word, but clear definitions never did seem to be your forte.
